Cartridge Heater

This inserted heating element is used for metal parts heating. Our cartridge heaters are manufactured from OD3mm to OD30mm, making them suitable for applications in molds, dies, hot plates, sealing and fluid heating processes within the life science, aerospace, semiconductor, and F&B industries.

Our cartridge heaters use a nickel-chromium resistance wire in the core, which is precisely wound and centered within the unit to ensure even & efficient distribution of heat to the sheath. We use magnesium oxide as the insulating material in our cartridge heaters. The sheaths on these units are made of stainless steel to resist oxidation and corrosion, so that they can be used in various chemicals, heat and atmospheric conditions without fear of deterioration.

Description

Cartridge Heater – Compact, High-Density Heating Solution

Cartridge heaters are precision-engineered heating elements designed for localized, high-temperature applications where space is limited and thermal response is critical. Built for durability and efficiency, these heaters deliver concentrated heat directly into metal blocks, molds, dies, and platens.

Key Features:

  • High Watt Density: Delivers rapid heat-up and stable temperature control
  • Robust Construction: Stainless steel sheath resists corrosion and mechanical wear
  • Compact Form Factor: Available in diameters from 6mm to 25mm and custom lengths
  • Precision Fit: Ground or slip-fit tolerances for optimal thermal contact
  • Lead Options: Straight, right-angle, or flexible braided leads with optional terminal protection
  • Temperature Range: Up to 760°C (1400°F) depending on sheath and insulation
  • Optional Features: Built-in thermocouples, moisture seals, and distributed wattage zones

Applications:
Ideal for plastic injection molds, packaging equipment, hot stamping tools, sealing bars, and medical devices, where fast, reliable heating is essential.
