Quartz heater is used for heating acidic solutions and has been used for heating many aggressive chemistries. It is made with heavy wall metal element, quartz tube sheath and polypropylene guards. It is used in most aqueous acidic plating solutions and pickling tanks. So check solution recommendation chart with your chemical supplier for proper sheath material selection.
